Yesterday

The afternoon was spent at Bunka Language School for my Japanese lesson. Gee, I was already into our 6th lesson and going to my 7th lesson next week. 我还处于在那种一知半解的状态。

My notes, my homework and my textbook hiding behind the stack of papers. And I will be having my test on the 8th lesson (which is 2 weeks later) and that will determine whether I can move onto my Elementary 2.

And I decided at last minute to meet my sister at Jurong Point when my lesson ended at 4pm. It was bad idea because I was spending again!

I bought a new brolly on impulse! Yes, why a brolly when the raining season is almost over? I don’t know.

I have been wanting to get this brolly every time I walked past the pushcart. Damn.

A purple brolly with laces, how did I manage to resist it for so long? The brolly reminds me of those lovely brollies I saw in Taiwan 2 years ago. Love!

And I got myself a handsew whatever-you-call-it-thing from another shop. It’s pretty in pink!

The Fool’s Day

April’s Fool Day is such a passe for me. Naturally, I have grown out of it by now. But I have my fair share of fun yesterday, not the prank kind of fun, but meeting up (arranged and non-arranged) with several people throughout the day.

I was supposed to go to some morning half day course but I decided not to go as I slept like 3+am the night before. I was feeling so very tired when I woke up at 7am. Fast forward to noon, I met up with Kathy for lunch at Swenson. Lunch was great!

By 3pm, I happened to see my Product Marketing colleague when I was visiting my consultant. Talking about concidence and how small the world can be, it’s a secret till then as we both have agreed. And I happened to saw my HR manager at the same venue too (She is there for some 3-day course).

French fries with minced beef from Kim Gary (from dinner). Yums!

By evening, I met up with my sister at VivoCity for a movie – Detroit Metal City. It was so very funny. And I heart Kenichi Matsuyama!

And I realised that there isn’t much time to revise for my mini Japanese test this Saturday. I have activities packed right to Friday.

Masks Attack!

The facial masks that I have ordered arrived yesterday and once again, I am in abundance of facial masks!

I am trying out new masks and they are commonly known as My Scheming Beauty masks from Taiwan. They are not the usual Dainty Design masks that I have been using. So let’s hope they are as good.

And yes, I absolutely love that post-masked feeling!

After deliberation and toying the idea of getting a new domain, I have decided to stick to this. I so very love it. Afterall, pink-ist.com has been with me since 2005!

Don’t be shocked. This is still my blog. I have decided to reinstall my wordpress (since the installation is rather easy) and exported out all my old entries. Keeping this fresh and clean, I am not going to import the old entries. Of course, I am still in the midst of doing up the contents, so please pardon me. And yes, I welcome your comments.

After attending a 3-day course last week, I have gotten myself a diary (and the new card holder beside it). The course coach has mentioned that goals which are handwritten are more likely to achieve. And I have diligently handwritten down my daily goal so far. I shall see how long this new habit will last.

A brand new start, a brand new me! And I have a good piece of news this morning! I am a happy girl.

我一直想要新的domain!　不过，在经过慎重（真的吗？）的思考，我决定保留 pink-ist.com。毕竟，它从2005就一直跟了我！本人还是非常喜欢它（好恶心的真心话）。
