bye bye 2007
Its the last day of 2007! Gee, time flies! There are ups and downs in 2007. So here’s a quick summary for 2007. Overall, it has been good for me, especially the last quarter. It has been the loveliest that I can ask for.
So in 2007…
Starting Jan, the urge to resign from my old company became stronger. I was so very actively looking for new jobs but the idea has been put off by many situations. The Taiwan trip in Jun, the bonus in Jul, and finally, I tendered in Sept because I thought I found a new job. Yikes.
In Jun, I revisited Taiwan as a business trip. It turned to be leisure trip when I extended the trip. And my sister joined me. Good and bad memories. Anyhow, I visited some new places in Taiwan this time. I wanna visit Taiwan again!
Came Aug, I felt so very betrayed by a so-called “good friend” and that bitch makes me realised that she’s really not a friend worth for. I should thank her for defining the real term of GOOD friends. Speaking of her makes me wanna vomit at how pretentious she can be. Ya. Flame on as if I care?
Also in Aug, I went back playing ruff after deciding to quit early Jan this year. I’m glad that I started playing this game again because I’ve found my precious Smelly Darling. I love you baby, so so very much!
Fucking PacNet has decided to “retrench” me before I started my work on Oct 15. Long story cut short, I got compensated for 3 months worth of salary anyway. And with the retrenchment package, I managed to clear off my study loan. This is what we called blessings in disguise. And because I was “retrenched”, I ended up rosing (inactive in job search) for almost 2 months. Throughout Aug to Oct, my heart is swooshed over slowly by Smelly. He has been the sweetest (minus his constant nags). With the fucked up “retrenchment”, Smelly and my family have been so very supportive. I felt so very loved.
Oct 6 has marked special date for Smelly and I.
I started working in Nov, after being a bummer for almost 2 months. It has been a real torture to adjust my sleeping time back to norm! And along with this, the late night chats between Smelly and I have dropped tremendously.
Dec is great! Basically it’s the month of season! And x’mas has been lovely. I just so wish it can be longer.
And looking back at my resolutions made for 2007, I failed all except No. #2. Haha. Its like what we used to say in poly, resolutions are like rules, they are made to be broken. Gee. How silly!
Anyway, have a great new year celebration and usher in 2008 with a strong cheer and sparkling attitude! Yes! Happy 2008!
